Cathy graduated from Murray State University in Murray, KY and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN with degrees in Home Economics Education.  She is married to Tom Lassiter who works at Texas Instruments.  After teaching high school home economics for 8 years, she retired to become a full time mother to their two children, Drew and Lisa.  When they were in middle school, Cathy returned to work outside the home as a church music librarian and later an administrative assistant.  She feels that her work is her ministry and that she is serving exactly where God wants her to be.  She enjoys reading, cross-stitch, and quilting.  Cathy is the vital link that keeps various areas of our church running smoothly so that our ministers can spend more time focused on people.
