Grant earned a BS in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.  Whether he was working in the business world or for Highland Baptist Church, since becoming a Christian in 2000, he desires for others to know the amazing grace that is offered to us through the Lord Jesus Christ.  Here is a brief statement from our pastor:
I had many misconceptions about what it meant to be a Christian and I thought churches were full of hypocrites before I became a Christian.  Though I grew up in church, I never clearly heard the good news of the gospel.  After leaving college, I began to question what life was all about and I felt as though something was missing.

Thankfully, a friend from college cared enough about me to invite to his church.  It was at that time that I heard the gospel and understood what I was missing. That something, was a relationship with the living Triune God, who is the creator of the world.  After this discovery, and after fully understanding that God had forgiven me of all the things I had done in the past, I knew there was nothing else I wanted to do in life, than to serve Him.  So whether that was in the business world or serving on staff at a church, my hope is that others would come to know the Son of God, the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

It was by invitation that I first came to church and I would like to invite you to come visit us and let us share with you the good news of the gospel.  Our church is a growing group of believers in Jesus Christ, we are not perfect, we make mistakes, but we are trying to love each other with the love that God has shown us through His Son.  Please join us this Sunday.
Grant is currently working on a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.  He is married to his wonderful wife Angela and has two children.  He enjoys adventurous road trips with Angela, playing with his kids, spending time with friends, cooking, eating foods from all over the world, fishing, anything outdoors, especially if it involves water, and seeing peoples lives changed through the gospel.
